FMC – Federal Maritime Commission tariff filing

Every Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) trading with the USA must file a legally required tariff with the Federal Maritime Commission. This tariff filing includes all rates, charges, rules, classifications and practices on both import and export. These rates should include current freight rates.

It is imperative that the tariffs meet the American Federal Maritime Commission’s detailed requirements. DPI provides a cost-effective tariff publication service that meets all FMC requirements.

The complete Federal Maritime Commission document and full text as published in the US Code of Federal Regulations 46-CFR Part 500 Series can be found by clicking this link.
