On the AGS Line house bills of lading, your company will be shown as the Agent and AGS Line as the Shipper. For that reason every agent of AGS Line needs to communicate with his shippers in relation with the SOLAS rules and regulations, but also in securing the Verified Gross Mass (VMG).

Due to the current legislation in this vital process, the AGS Line agents will apply additional procedures to secure information as early as possible and confirming to the shippers their liability with respect to the provided information. 

Shippers are required to provide verified weights obtained on calibrated, certified equipment of all cargo that is to be tendered to shipping lines and carriers.
